2009 Scholarship Information:

The American Legion Post 106 is awarding two $250 scholarships to Dade County High School Seniors during Class Night. One scholarship will be awarded to a male student, and one to a female student. To apply for the award, qualifications are as follows:
1. The student must have entered into any branch of the United States Military
2. The student must submit a one page essay covering:
a. Why they joined the armed forces
b. Why it is important for them to serve their country
c. Why they chose the branch of service they joined
All entries must be submitted by mail to: Fred A. Morgan Post 106, P.O. Box 305, Trenton, GA 30752. Entries must be received by May 15, 2009 in order to be considered.
